【About the Work】
Anyone has the capacity to share—it’s a natural human gift. Whether it’s an object, a look, a smile, a “hello,” or even the time that we take out of our busy lives to spend with others, the things we share can bring a sense of meaning—both to the sharer and the sharee—that transcends individual boundaries and the conventional notion of value. It is a shame, then, that the unforgiving pace of modern life often makes us forget the beauty of sharing.
As coldness and oblivion are part of life, so are poetry, art and music. In this journey, we invite you to immerse yourself in this sensory poem composed of music, video footage and installations, and embark on a voyage in search of those lost feelings in the unexpected and the unknown. In the end, you may realise: happiness doesn’t come from what’s given to us, but what we’re able to share with others.
“I remember when looking at some artworks, the goosebumps I got; tears rolling down my face, but I was smiling at the same time…I didn’t get why, but suddenly, everything I saw started to glow and the world felt lighter…How I wish to create a work that could give the same moment to others, and in this way, share the emotions with as many people as possible.” ——Ivana Wong
